FORTHCOMING EVENTS
July 1: – Unseen Voices: a film by Louise Chandler & Allen Jennings (2014). Stories of ordinary people during World War 2 and their lives leading up to D-Day. In listening to their personal accounts, your own memories may also be rekindled. There will be a talk and discussion about the film project afterwards.
July 10: 7.30pm in the Preston Pub – our regular fund-raising quiz
July 12: 7pm – Safer Neighbourhood Team meets in the library every three months, to talk about crime and related issues in the Preston Area. All local residents welcome. For more information, email prestonwardsnt@gmail.com

July 16: 2pm – Children’s event with author, Saman Shamsie.
July 17: 10.30am – Santander & Police Crime Prevention team advice
session on fraud awareness.

FILM CLUB
We show films at the library most Saturday nights. We also plan to show films for children during the summer holidays – details will be available later in July. Films are free to our library members [join at the door], but donations are encouraged to finance future films. Pick up a film programme in the library.
